Dr. Gerrit Blümelhuber: Farewell to a founding leader of Doemens Academy

For over 15 years, Dr. Gerrit Blümelhuber has helped shape Doemens Academy, on the one hand in leadership positions as Deputy CEO and Head of the Consulting, Seminars and Laboratory Division, on the other hand as a valued lecturer and consultant. The graduate engineer in brewing and beverage technology has built a comprehensive network in the brewing and beverage industry, both nationally and internationally, and is highly valued for his innovative spirit and entrepreneurial thinking and management skills. Born in Mainz, he was instrumental in the successful implementation of the pilot plant facilities at the new Doemens.

On October 31st, Dr. Gerrit Blümelhuber completed his tenure at Doemens Academy. For more than a year, he has accompanied his successor, Lukas Schappals, the former Doemens laboratory manager, preparing him for his new responsibilities. Lukas Schappals takes the helm in the Consulting, Laboratory and Technical Services Department as of November 1st.
