Since the first European Beer Star was held in 2004, Doemens has been a reliable partner for the Association of Private Breweries. Above all, Doemens provides sensory expertise for this premier beer tasting competition. This includes the creation and constant updating of beer category descriptions, the training of table captains as well as concept development for the elaboration of sensory profiles. Doemens is also responsible for the beer logistics before and during the expert tasting rounds and is responsible for the smooth running of the tasting procedures.

Doemens is looking forward to the 19th edition of the European Beer Star. From April 1st until July 1st, participating breweries can register their entries. From mid-June 2022, the first beers will arrive at Doemens and all logistical challenges will be mastered by our team by the end of July 2022. The expert tasting will be held at Doemens on August 4th and 5th, and the winners will be crowned on September 14th at drinktec. Go to here for further details.
