Finest Beer Selection 2024 – High-quality tasting at Doemens
After a successful start in 2023, the second edition of the Finest Beer Selection powered by Doemens and Meininger Verlag will be held this year. From June 11th to 13th, the expert tasting with 825 beers from almost 200 breweries from 16 countries took place at Doemens. During the three-day tasting, a jury of 50 international experts assessed each beer individually, independently and not in comparison with other beers.
In the context of the two-stage tasting process, the Finest Beer Score is determined based on the description of the Finest Beer Profile. Beers with a Finest Beer Score of 90 points or more have made it into the Finest Beer Selection 2024. The award ceremony for the winning beers as well as the brewery and beer of the year (national/international) will take place on July 15th, 2024 in Neustadt a.d. Weinstraße.
“The Finest Beer Selection is the transparent quality benchmark that can be used effectively not only by breweries, but also by restaurants, beverage wholesalers and retailers: transparent, clear, comprehensible and created neutrally by tasting professionals.
