Jens Luckart is the new Head of the Doemens Savour Academy

Jens Luckart has been the new head of the Doemens Savour Academy since January 1st, 2025, taking over for Dr. Michael Zepf, who will continue in another role at Doemens. The Doemens Savour Academy was launched in 2004, with the start of our Beer Sommelier training programme. The institute has since gradually expanded nationally and internationally, through customized in-house training courses and other sommelier activities such as Water, Fruit juice or Distillate Sommelier training programmes.

Jens Luckart, who has been with Doemens’ Savour Academy for over a year in another role, will continue to build on our success in this leadership position. The graduate engineer in brewing and beverage technology has extensive managerial expertise in initial training and further education in the fields of beer sommelier and distillation analytics. Jens Luckart enjoys a stellar reputation in the brewing industry, which he has earned in various positions as master brewer and senior lecturer.
